Lecturer in Nursing

About the role

The School of Health at UniSC Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs or Caboolture is recruiting a full-time Lecturer in Nursing. You will help shape the next generation of nurses and prepare graduates for a rapidly changing healthcare environment, working alongside a collaborative academic team. The role includes teaching, research, partnership building and work-integrated learning, with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing education through engaging teaching, contemporary curriculum development and student-centred learning.
• Contribute to research projects, scholarly publications and grant applications, and support honours and higher degree research candidates.
• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, professional networks and community organisations to strengthen work-integrated learning and graduate outcomes.

Required profile

• A completed or near-completed doctorate in a relevant field, or equivalent accreditation and standing.
• Current registration as a nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and evidence of research experience (publications, projects, grants or supervision).
• Established connections with professional bodies, healthcare providers, community groups or practice networks.
• Desirable: experience in academic administration such as course coordination.
