Lecturer in Anatomy

About the role

A full-time, ongoing Academic Level B position as Lecturer in Anatomy at the Campbelltown campus, with flexible working arrangements. The role combines teaching medical sciences, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contributing to research.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, design, deliver and evaluate teaching units within the medical sciences discipline, giving high-quality learning, feedback and assessment.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues on research-informed undergraduate teaching and support students moving into postgraduate research and study.
• Contribute to scholarly research, publish in high-quality academic journals, prepare competitive research grant proposals and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
• Build relationships across the School, Faculty and University, and with academic, industry and professional partners.
• Take part in administration, meetings and activities supporting the School's strategy and student success.

Required profile

• Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Record of excellent teaching and learning in a tertiary environment.
• Demonstrated research capability supported by peer-reviewed publications or other high-quality scholarly outputs.
• Experience supervising research students at Honours level or above.
• Experience building productive relationships with academic, industry and professional stakeholders.
