About the role
The School of Medicine at Adelaide University is seeking a dynamic Lecturer to coordinate and lead key teaching activities for the Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine (BMD) program, primarily in Year 3. This part‑time, continuing part‑term position involves both curriculum delivery and academic leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Co‑coordinate the Transition to Clinical Studies course in Semester 2, including direct teaching and assessment oversight.
- Lead Scenario‑Based Learning (SBL) delivery for Year 3 in Semester 1, managing a team of casual tutors.
- Provide curriculum review and development in collaboration with colleagues and curriculum leads.
- Support and liaise with casual tutors, academic staff, and clinical title‑holders.
Required profile
- Relevant clinical experience enabling integration of curriculum concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and tutor support.
- Availability to work on designated Mondays and Thursdays as required by timetabling.

- Level B salary pro‑rated at 0.4 FTE: $114,917 – $135,307 per annum.
- Employer superannuation contribution of 17%.
