Learning Experience Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Learning Experience Specialist with deep knowledge of the Leisure business to design and manage onboarding programs that accelerate consultant confidence and productivity. You will work closely with training, delivery, and store network leaders to create practical, data‑driven learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and manage New Starter Program content for Leisure, from day one to early competency.
• Partner with NSP training and delivery teams to ensure content is effective for both facilitators and learners.
• Collaborate with store Team Leaders and Area Leaders to keep onboarding grounded in real‑world store operations.
• Translate operational and product knowledge into clear guides, checklists, job aids and self‑paced eLearning.
• Facilitate design sessions and training for new processes, systems and tools across the store network.
• Use starter feedback, completion data and time‑to‑competency metrics to continuously improve onboarding.
• Maintain accurate, easily searchable NSP content across platforms as products and processes evolve.
• Leverage modern design approaches, including AI‑assisted tools, to scale onboarding for ~350 teams nationally.

Required profile

• 3+ years recent experience in an FCTG leisure travel sales business, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to work with operational SMEs to convert complex processes into usable learning content.
• Comfort with data‑driven improvement using completion rates, time‑to‑competency and manager feedback.
• Confidence influencing outcomes across a large, dispersed network without direct authority.

Required skills

• Fluency with Articulate Storyline/Rise, Canva or WalkMe.
• Knowledge of instructional design models such as 4MAT, ADDIE or LTM.
• Experience using AI‑assisted tools for content creation and personalization.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, plus a degree/diploma in Education, Instructional Design, Business or related field.
