Lead Consultant – Energy & Utilities Transformation

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking a Lead Consultant to drive high‑impact workstreams within complex digital and operational transformation programs for electric, gas, water and renewable utility clients. The role bridges strategic business objectives with large‑scale technology implementations, working with global cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional workstreams, define target operating models, conduct requirements gathering, process mapping and gap analysis.
• Advise on modernising legacy utility environments and guide core platform implementations such as SAP S/4HANA Utilities/IS‑U, Oracle CC&B/MDM, Utilities Cloud, GIS, EAM or ADMS.
• Manage delivery using Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall frameworks, coordinate onshore/offshore teams and mentor junior consultants.
• Support practice growth through pre‑sales activities, RFP responses and development of reusable assets.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years consulting experience, with at least 3 years at a Big 4 or top‑tier enterprise IT consultancy.
• Proven delivery of functional or technical workstreams on enterprise‑scale transformation programs in the utilities sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT or related field.
