Lead Auditor – Internal Management Systems (IMS)

About the role

This position offers an experienced auditor the chance to lead third‑party assessments for ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and related management system standards across a range of Australian industries. The role is flexible on location, allowing you to work from anywhere in Australia while supporting the client’s compliance and certification activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and report third‑party audits against ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and combined standards.
• Review audit reports for accuracy, completeness and adherence to quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement of audit workflows and report‑writing processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the audit lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree or higher qualification in Quality Management, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Proven third‑party auditing experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, compliant audit reports.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder liaison.
