About the role
Lead the analytical engineering function within the People and Engagement Technology team, shaping data platforms that power People and Culture decisions across a global financial services group.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve the shared analytical data platform, ensuring resilience, performance and cost efficiency in AWS.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics and governance stakeholders to translate business problems into well‑defined data products.
- Guide a small, distributed team in Australia and India, providing technical mentorship and setting engineering standards.
Required profile
- Deep expertise in SQL, dbt and AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue) with a track record of delivering production‑grade analytical solutions.
- Experience architecting scalable, cloud‑native data products and implementing data quality, observability and monitoring frameworks.
