Laboratory Technician - Concrete

About the role

Join our Stonyfell laboratory as a Concrete Laboratory Technician, reporting to the Lab Manager. You will be responsible for sampling, testing, and reporting on concrete and quarry products while ensuring compliance with safety and accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect concrete samples on‑site and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
• Perform concrete testing according to work instructions, test methods, and industry standards.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records, report results, and support training and supervision activities.
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans for production and compliance testing.
• Uphold statutory safety requirements and NATA accreditation procedures.

Required profile

• Experience as a concrete field tester or in a construction‑based trade (desirable).
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to Australian standards.
• Good time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Current driver’s licence; a tool‑of‑trade vehicle is provided.
