L2 Systems & Platform Administrator

About the role

Infotrust is seeking an L2 Systems & Platform Administrator to join its Internal IT team. You will support and administer the company’s internal infrastructure, cloud platforms and business systems, ensuring they remain secure, reliable and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain internal servers, virtualization platforms, cloud services and business applications.
• Support and enhance Microsoft Azure environments and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement security controls, access‑management processes and platform hardening.
• Manage internal IT and security requests through the service queue.
• Support backup, recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, platform improvements and technology projects.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle activities including procurement, deployment, asset management and decommissioning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams and operational procedures.
• Contribute to compliance, governance and ISMS activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server environments and core infrastructure technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud services.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
