L1 IT Technician – Hybrid, Sydney – Up to $70k

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Level 1 IT Technician to join our fast‑paced Managed Service Provider environment. This hybrid role in Sydney offers exposure to modern Microsoft technologies, cloud services and cybersecurity, ideal for an early‑career professional who enjoys customer interaction and problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 technical support to multiple customers across a range of Microsoft environments.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
• Support users on desktops, applications and cloud services.
• Work with modern workplace tools such as Intune and Entra ID.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and clear communication.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience in IT support, service desk or a similar role.
• Strong customer‑facing skills, preferably within an MSP setting.
• Passion for cybersecurity and a willingness to learn.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Based in Sydney and able to work hybrid.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
• Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration.
• Desktop support and troubleshooting.
• General cloud services knowledge.
