Kitchen Steward

About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Steward to join our team at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and related areas to support the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise all equipment, food storage areas, filters, and hoods.
• Keep all kitchen areas maintained in a clean, sanitised condition.
• Maintain equipment in the steward’s area in good condition.
• Clean and maintain the loading dock and organise rotation and cleaning of bins.

Required profile

• Positive and eager individual who enjoys a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work onsite and live at the resort.
• Reliable and able to perform physical cleaning tasks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitising procedures.
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment.
