Key Account Manager – Trade

About the role

As a Key Account Manager in Bunnings' Trade team, you will manage a portfolio of strategic trade customers, building trusted partnerships and identifying growth opportunities. You will work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver commercial value for both customers and Bunnings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key trade customers, acting as their trusted advisor.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts and attract new business.
• Create and execute account plans that balance customer needs with commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with stores, Trade Centres, operations, merchandising and support functions to ensure excellent customer experiences.
• Negotiate fair and sustainable commercial agreements aligned with Bunnings' values.
• Track performance, forecast results and provide insights on market trends.
• Represent Bunnings within the trade community and industry networks.
• Participate in team planning, problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales or a similar customer‑focused commercial role.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing abilities.
• Curiosity, resilience and a practical mindset for solving challenges.
• Comfortable taking ownership, asking questions and contributing ideas.
• Commitment to safety, integrity and doing the right thing.
