Key Account Manager

About the role

Cleanaway is looking for a Key Account Manager to retain and grow a portfolio of mid‑market customers in Wingfield, SA. You will influence customer retention, profitable growth and long‑term partnerships while delivering high‑quality account management across Cleanaway’s service offering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic customer relationships and identify share‑of‑wallet opportunities.
• Grow portfolio value through contract optimisation, pricing discipline and retention activities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide competitor, market and tender intelligence.
• Manage CRM, contract and reporting requirements to support commercial decisions.
• Partner with operational, finance and customer service teams to deliver a strong customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a commercial or industrial B2B Key Account Management role.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service capability in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated negotiation, presentation and tender response experience.
• Commercial acumen with a track record of growing revenue within existing portfolios.
• Current driver’s licence; tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline are desirable.
