Key Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of strategic customers for a leading omni‑channel 3PL and fulfilment provider. The role focuses on retaining and growing existing accounts, building long‑term partnerships, and ensuring service excellence across warehousing, transport and fulfilment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and retain a portfolio of key customer accounts.
• Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders and internal operational teams.
• Conduct regular account reviews, performance discussions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify growth opportunities, additional services and operational enhancements within each account.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact, handling contracts and service negotiations.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service and management to guarantee service delivery.
• Maintain proactive communication to ensure customer satisfaction and long‑term retention.

Required profile

• Proven experience in 3PL, warehousing, contract logistics or fulfilment environments.
• Demonstrated success managing key accounts and driving customer retention.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to spot revenue‑growth opportunities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, mid‑sized business.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple accounts.
