Key Account Manager - Food Safety Products

About the role

A global leader in food safety and contamination prevention products is recruiting a Key Account Manager based in Lidcombe. You will take ownership of existing customer relationships, build structured account plans and encourage consistent ordering, while working with UK head office and international stakeholders to grow the business across APAC and other overseas markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen existing customer relationships to drive retention and revenue growth.
• Contact customers proactively to encourage regular ordering and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Develop structured account management plans, including call cycles, customer visits and follow-ups.
• Monitor sales activity, customer engagement and ordering patterns against agreed KPIs.
• Identify business development opportunities and collaborate with international stakeholders to support APAC growth.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and pipeline information in HubSpot or a comparable CRM.

Required profile

• Experience in key account management, sales or customer relationship management.
• Proactive, organised and commercially focused approach; confident managing customer contact schedules, sales cycles and account development.
• Business development experience, ideally involving international markets.
• Ability to work autonomously within a small Australian team while collaborating with an international operation.
• Additional language skills, particularly Asian or other international languages, are advantageous.

Required skills

• HubSpot or a similar CRM system.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

What we offer

• $85,000 base salary plus superannuation.
• On-target earnings of approximately $95,000, including performance-based bonus potential.
