Key Account Manager - Capital Sales

About the role

FLSmidth is seeking a driven Key Account Manager to lead Capital Sales for mining equipment across Australia. You will act as a senior representative, building relationships with EPCs and major mining customers to secure new business and manage complex sales cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Network, present, and liaise with stakeholders at all levels within EPCs and customer organisations.
• Identify, target, and convert sales opportunities ranging from weeks to several years.
• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term sales strategies for capital equipment.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of RFQs and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Represent FLSmidth’s product portfolio and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in capital sales within the mining sector, especially fixed‑plant equipment.
• Established network with major mining companies and EPCs in Australia.
• Technical mindset with mechanical, process or mechanical engineering background.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, confident and able to work autonomously.
