Key Account Executive – Private Touring (Cairns)

About the role

Down Under Tours is seeking a motivated Key Account Executive to lead its private touring business in Cairns. You will manage the full travel journey for luxury clients, from the first enquiry to departure, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create bespoke travel proposals and manage bookings end‑to‑end using the company reservation system.
• Maintain and grow relationships with luxury travel agents, DMC partners and premium trade partners.
• Identify gaps in the current product offering, develop new itineraries and work with Operations to launch them.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, content creation and promotional activities.
• Track and achieve private touring revenue targets and expand the active booking agent base.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel reservations, luxury touring or premium trade sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Genuine passion for the Australian tourism industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation management software.
