Junior School Teacher

About the role

The Junior School Teacher will join Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College in Fletcher, NSW, starting January 2027 on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality classroom instruction and supporting student learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement learning and assessment frameworks using data and benchmarks.
• Model exemplary classroom teaching, manage student behaviour, and record assessment results accurately.
• Collaborate with the head of school, executive team, and colleagues to achieve school goals.
• Participate in co‑curricular, extracurricular activities, camps, and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field with a teaching qualification.
• Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and a valid Working with Children Check.
• Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, NSW syllabus documents, and commitment to AITSL standards.
• Alignment with the school’s Christian values and willingness to support its faith‑based environment.

Required skills

• Ability to use data to inform teaching practice and assessment.
