Junior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a driven, people‑focused Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Applications recruitment team in Perth. This entry‑level role will support senior recruiters by sourcing and engaging talented IT professionals such as software developers, testers and data analysts, helping match them with opportunities across leading local tech teams.

Key responsibilities

• Search for quality candidates using online tools and platforms.
• Call and meet candidates to understand their experience and career goals.
• Write clear notes and summaries to support the recruitment team.
• Collaborate closely with consultants to fill active roles.
• Develop knowledge of the local technology market.

Required profile

• Background in retail, marketing, advertising, commerce or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in people, careers and the technology sector.
• Willingness to learn and motivation to grow.
• Confidence speaking on the phone and meeting new people.
• Nice to have: experience with LinkedIn or admin systems; exposure to recruitment, HR or tech.
