Junior Mens and Unisex Designer - Activewear

About the role

LSKD, an Australian-owned activewear brand, is hiring a Junior Mens and Unisex Designer for its Global HQ in Loganholme. The role supports the design team in bringing the brand's vision to life, covering the end-to-end design process from initial concept to technical handover, in line with performance and aesthetic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in turning concepts into actionable plans, focusing on materials, functionality and performance features.
• Create accurate technical drawings and handover files aligned with the product team.
• Use market research and trend analysis to help develop product ranges.
• Partner with product development and raw materials on fit, fabrics and construction.
• Help maintain the design roadmap and meet critical path dates for timely product drops.
• Contribute ideas for new products and features, keeping designs aligned with the brand and the community.
• Collaborate with Creative Direction, merchandising, supply chain and product development, and share product direction with the wider business.
• Travel to markets, trade shows and suppliers to stay ahead of trends.

Required profile

• Fashion design qualification or hands-on apparel design experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for performance apparel and streetwear.
• Curious, collaborative and able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Eligibility to work in Australia; proof required on application.
• Bonus: activewear experience, wear testing exposure, or a portfolio.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, fit and technical drawings.
• Confidence with design tools and technical packs, or willingness to build them.
