About the role
Join SYPAQ's Advanced Technology Group to support the manufacture, assembly and delivery of the CORVO family of unmanned aerial systems. This onsite role in Port Melbourne combines mechanical and electronics work within a defence‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, test and package the CORVO UAS and related systems.
- Assemble sub‑systems including structural, communications, electronics and packaging hardware.
- Assess, repair and release manufactured items.
- Conduct quality inspections.
- Manage components, production equipment, tools and production data for projects.
Required profile
- Australian citizen able to obtain an NV1 Defence security clearance.
- Relevant qualification such as Certificate III or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication (or equivalent).
Required skills
- Mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
- Electronics assembly and testing.
- Quality inspection and release procedures.
- Component, tool and production data management.
