Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

Muscle Republic, a fitness brand, is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer based in Sydney's CBD. The role supports the Senior Graphic Designer in creating and resizing graphic assets for websites, emails, social media and paid advertising. It suits a creative designer eager to learn and grow.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Graphic Designer with the rollout of creative assets across all platforms
• Resize existing graphic design assets for all platforms
• Help run weekly email campaigns and automated flows
• Design promotional banners and imagery for the website and app
• Prepare final design files for production or digital use, ensuring quality and accuracy
• Manage print assets end to end, including bleed, CMYK setup, proofing and final sign-off
• Explore how to integrate AI design tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly and generative fill into daily work
• Design and deliver paid social media assets on time, on brand and visually cohesive

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• A relevant design degree and a strong desire to keep learning
• A portfolio of design work
• Ability to take constructive feedback and work independently when needed
• Solid understanding of print production requirements (bleed, CMYK, proofing, digital export specs)
• Strong brand awareness and commitment to brand guidelines
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines across several concurrent briefs
• Full working AU rights

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and XD)
• Growing awareness of motion graphics and social-first content formats
