Junior Full-Stack Engineer (AI-First)

About the role

Syncio is seeking a Junior Full‑Stack Engineer to join its product engineering team and help shape the next generation of commerce tools. You will work closely with the founder, CTO, engineering lead, product manager, designer and CX specialists in a remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Design, build and maintain both backend and frontend components (approximately 50% each).
• Ensure high code quality through automated testing and proactive performance optimisation.
• Collaborate across time zones with product, design and customer experience teams.
• Contribute technical insights to product discussions and interact directly with customers to understand their needs.

Required profile

• Eager to grow and passionate about building great products.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communicator and team player in a remote‑first setting.
• Interest in AI tools and ability to judge when to rely on them.

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools such as Cursor or Claude.
• Full‑stack development experience (backend and frontend).
• Automated testing practices.
• Performance monitoring and optimisation.
