Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud and Engineering team. This full‑time remote position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who want hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, automation, and site reliability practices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Support the creation and management of CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployment, configuration and operational processes using scripting and IaC tools.
• Monitor application performance, system health and infrastructure metrics.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and application issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Support containerised deployments with Docker and related technologies.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and system configurations.
• Participate in incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives across development and operations workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience or academic projects.
• Basic understanding of Linux command‑line environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control (Git).
• Fundamental knowledge of networking, operating systems and system administration.
• Basic scripting ability in Python, Bash, Shell or PowerShell.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new DevOps tools and practices.
