About the role

HammondCare, an independent Christian charity providing the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government, is looking for an Italian-speaking volunteer visitor in Condell Park. The person being visited enjoys Italian films, reads the Italian newspaper and watches Mass on TV, and would appreciate the company of someone who shares her language and understands what brings her joy. Regular visits from volunteers can improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Required profile

Speak Italian
18 years or older
A warm heart and a little time to give
National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

What we offer

Regular visits of 1 hour, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday, weekly or fortnightly
The chance to make a real difference to someone's day
