IT Support Technician – Level 1/2 (Colac, VIC)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on IT Support Technician (Level 1/2) to provide first‑line and advanced support for both enterprise IT and operational technology (OT) at our Colac site. The role is essential to maintain system uptime and deliver excellent customer service across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for IT support requests and log incidents in the service‑desk system.
• Provide Level 1 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals, including hardware, software and OS troubleshooting.
• Manage user accounts, Microsoft 365 access and password resets.
• Diagnose and resolve Level 2 issues, supporting servers, infrastructure and business‑critical systems.
• Install, configure and maintain network devices and OT equipment within security and change‑control procedures.
• Assist with upgrades, patching, system improvements and vendor coordination.
• Follow IT policies, change‑management and security controls, and comply with health & safety requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently on a site‑based location.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
