IT Support Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused IT Support Officer to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will assist users with hardware, software, network and system issues while maintaining a high level of service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware, software and network problems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other equipment.
• Support operating systems, business applications, email and productivity tools.
• Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions in line with security policies.
• Monitor systems, document incidents and use ticketing tools for tracking.
• Perform routine maintenance, software updates and equipment inspections.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding by preparing devices and accounts.
• Support network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, VPN and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and help implement new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with IT best practices.
