IT Support Officer

About the role

The IT Support Officer will be the first point of contact for all technology issues across Law Partners. You will provide first‑ and second‑level support, working closely with the IT Operations Manager and an external managed service provider to ensure a stable, responsive technology environment for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second‑level support in person, by phone and via the service desk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365, applications, devices and systems.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, monitors, printers and mobile devices.
• Manage user onboarding and off‑boarding (Active Directory, M365, firm systems).
• Support legal practice‑management and document‑management platforms.
• Monitor system health, coordinate escalations with the managed service provider and maintain an accurate IT asset inventory.
• Document technical procedures, create how‑to guides and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on IT support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software and systems.
• Solid experience with Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Active Directory).
• Ability to work independently on ambiguous technical problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer‑focused mindset.
