IT Support Engineer – Level 1/2 (Hybrid, Sydney)

About the role

As the first point of contact for all IT queries, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and Microsoft 365 applications. You will also manage user onboarding and off‑boarding, administer system access and help keep automated workflows running smoothly while maintaining clear documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on helpdesk support (hardware, software, connectivity) and track issues through to resolution.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Azure AD and Microsoft 365, including provisioning, deactivation and license management.
• Support SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive – handling configuration, permissions and user queries.
• Coordinate with external managed service providers to ensure SLA compliance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Power Automate flows and other automated business solutions.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles, IT FAQs and user guides.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in an IT Support or help‑desk role within a Windows environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration.
• Familiarity with ITSM principles and ticketing systems (ITIL foundation a plus).
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure Fundamentals) are highly regarded.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
