IT Support Engineer

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an IT Support Engineer to keep its growing workforce productive. The role combines deep technical expertise with a service‑focused mindset, supporting a primarily macOS environment while helping to scale the company’s IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging and resolving hardware, software, networking and account issues via ticketing system, Slack and in‑person support.
• Diagnosing problems on macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android and core SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub and Atlassian.
• Managing device enrollment, configuration profiles, policy enforcement and access‑management workflows for onboarding, off‑boarding and reorganisations.
• Participating in an on‑call rotation for urgent incidents outside business hours.
• Providing hands‑on support for AV equipment, conference rooms and printers.
• Creating and maintaining runbooks, how‑to guides and knowledge‑base articles.
• Identifying recurring issues and proposing automation or systemic solutions.
• Contributing to automation projects using Bash or Python scripts and improving device‑management, identity and access systems.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of hands‑on IT support experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help users solve problems.
• Methodical, curious and persistent troubleshooting approach.

Required skills

• macOS endpoint support.
• ChromeOS, iOS and Android support.
• Google Workspace administration.
• Slack workspace management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with GitHub and Atlassian SaaS tools.
• Scripting in Bash and Python for automation.
