IT Support Engineer I – Operations Technology Solutions

About the role

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to join its Operations Technology Solutions team at a logistics site. You will provide first‑line technical support for a range of IT systems that keep the fulfillment center running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level technical support for the fulfillment center across multiple technical disciplines.
• Support multiple buildings, allocating and maintaining IT equipment such as PCs, thin clients, wireless handheld devices, printers and other end‑user devices.
• Manage simultaneous customer requests and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Handle Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and warranty repair processes for devices.
• Learn new technologies and participate in career development opportunities within Amazon’s IT network.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of corporate‑setting support experience for Windows, macOS or Linux operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• Experience maintaining Zebra thermal printers and troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners and portable handheld terminals.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Red Hat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic, high‑customer‑service environment.
