IT Support Engineer – Enterprise & Financial Services

About the role

Join a fast‑growing technology and cybersecurity consultancy as an IT Support Engineer. You will provide high‑quality technical assistance to enterprise and financial‑services clients, working on both remote and onsite engagements while gaining exposure to cloud, security and automation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote and onsite support for end‑user devices, cloud platforms, infrastructure and security systems.
• Act as an escalation point for junior engineers, offering guidance and mentorship.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, networking and application issues.
• Own incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication per SLA.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network and cybersecurity teams to resolve critical problems.
• Provision hardware, deploy software and support laptops, workstations and other end‑user devices.
• Monitor systems and respond to operational and security alerts.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, troubleshooting records and root‑cause analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP or financial‑services environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and a client‑focused attitude.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Support of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Hands‑on administration of Microsoft 365.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN and TCP/IP.
• Experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with automation tools or AI‑assisted support platforms.
• Knowledge of identity management, endpoint security and IT security best practices.
