IT Project Technician

About the role

Telstra is looking for an IT Project Technician based at Kemps Creek, Sydney. You will prepare, stage, configure and commission mobility and ICT equipment so it is ready for rollout to enterprise customers. The role is fixed term for 2 years.

Key responsibilities

• Stage and configure Android and Apple mobility devices ready for customer use.
• Prepare ICT equipment such as routers, switches and wireless technology.
• Learn how service requests and incidents are managed within agreed timeframes.
• Work with experienced team members to deliver secure, reliable and high-quality outcomes for customers.

Required profile

• Studying, recently graduated or has a strong interest in IT, networking, cyber security, telecommunications or a related technology field.
• Enjoys hands-on technical work and learning how devices and systems are set up and supported.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Organised, reliable and comfortable in a busy team environment.
• Clear communicator who asks questions and wants to keep building technical skills.
