IT Officer

About the role

The IT Officer provides advanced technical support to end‑users within ATSICHS Brisbane, ensuring systems run securely and efficiently. This role blends technical expertise with strong customer service to maintain a culturally safe and innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and security monitoring on IT systems.
• Install and configure hardware and software, and manage access control, endpoint protection, and backup solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, configurations, procedures, and project risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar IT role.
• Certificate IV in a relevant field.
• Ability to empathise with users, manage multiple tasks, and work collaboratively.
• Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Windows Server.
• Networking knowledge.
• Azure fundamentals.
