IT Audit Senior Manager - Digital and Controls Assurance

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring an IT Audit Senior Manager in Brisbane for its Digital and Controls Assurance line of service. The role leads complex, large-scale IT audit, cybersecurity and technology risk engagements for clients in financial services, resources, technology, ASX listed and not-for-profit sectors, and works closely with C-suite executives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex IT audit, cybersecurity and technology risk engagements, providing high-quality insights and practical recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior client executives and align IT risk solutions to their strategic objectives.
• Develop innovative IT audit methodologies using AI, automation and data analytics.
• Work in Technology Audit (external audit) and Technology Risk (internal audit, SOC 1, ERP reviews).
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and client growth.

Required profile

• Typically 7+ years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity assurance or technology risk consulting in a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated experience with common global ERPs (SAP, Oracle, JDE, D365 etc.).
• Proven leadership managing multiple large client engagements and complex technology risk advisory projects.
• Deep expertise in IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST), data privacy regulations and emerging technology risks.
• Strong commercial acumen and business development capability.
• Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders across diverse industries.

Required skills

• Preferred: experience in Big 4 Technology Audit.
• Preferred: experience with PCAOB/SOX, JSox, KSox.
• Desirable: experience assessing Agentic AI solutions and AI governance.
