IT Administrator – System21 Application

About the role

The IT Administrator for the System21 application is responsible for ensuring the solution’s architecture, configuration, performance, security, availability and lifecycle are managed to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain technical standards and architecture blueprints for the System21 application.
• Execute projects that improve the application and evaluate existing services for enhancements.
• Manage configuration changes through formal change‑management processes and keep documentation in a central repository.
• Perform regular maintenance, monitor performance, purge data and optimise scheduled jobs.
• Ensure application and data security, align solutions with Sandvik security standards and stay updated on emerging security trends.
• Coordinate with partners to meet SLA requirements for data backup, restoration and availability.
• Oversee lifecycle activities including PTF installations, capacity planning, and assessment of new technologies.
• Document security standards, alerts, escalation procedures, operator guides and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT administration or systems management.
• Strong understanding of change‑management processes and capacity planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to meet service level agreements.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail for technical procedures and KPIs.
