IT Administrator

About the role

Hullbot is seeking an IT Administrator to own day‑to‑day technology that keeps the team moving. You will be the primary point of contact for company‑wide IT, supporting laptops, SaaS accounts, workshop rigs and field equipment.

Key responsibilities

• First‑point‑of‑contact for IT support, triaging, resolving and escalating requests.
• Manage hardware lifecycle: setup, imaging, asset tracking, repairs and retirement for laptops, workstations and mobile devices.
• Run the IT storeroom and inventory, tracking hardware assignments and spare parts.
• Own onboarding and off‑boarding of staff hardware, accounts and tool access.
• Handle user accounts and permissions across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack and Notion.
• Support office IT including Wi‑Fi, meeting rooms, printers and shared workstations.
• Maintain IT documentation, runbooks and asset records.
• Assist senior team with servers, NAS, networking and cloud systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on IT experience (internship, helpdesk, home lab or hobby project).
• Service mindset – helping colleagues is core to the role.
• Confidence troubleshooting Windows and willingness to learn Linux.
• Passionate about networking and general IT.
• Clear, patient communication and ability to write helpful guides.
• Organised, methodical and good follow‑through on issues.
