IS Operations Analyst

About the role

The IS Operations Analyst will manage day‑to‑day infrastructure operations and Azure platform administration across both cloud and on‑premises environments for George Weston Foods.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Azure platform administration and support for services such as Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Arc, identity management, security, governance and optimisation.
• Manage core infrastructure services including Windows Server, virtualization, patching, monitoring, identity and access, incident resolution and system maintenance.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues across on‑premises and cloud environments, perform planned maintenance, upgrades and support infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and security groups to ensure services are secure, reliable and performant.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience as an Azure and Infrastructure Administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification or equivalent change and incident management experience (desirable).

Required skills

• Azure platform administration (compute, storage, networking, monitoring, backup, governance, RBAC, cost management, automation).
• Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, hybrid identity, MFA, Conditional Access.
• Windows Server administration, SCCM/Intune.
• Azure Virtual Desktop administration.
• VMware, Cisco networking.
