Investment Banking Analyst – Boutique Advisory Firm

About the role

We are a high‑performing boutique advisory firm seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join our Sydney team. You will work across a broad range of transactions, including M&A, capital raisings, divestments and strategic advisory, gaining exposure to multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support Partners and senior bankers on live deals from origination to execution.
• Conduct financial analysis and build detailed financial models for transactions.
• Prepare presentation materials, pitch books and client deliverables.
• Assist with market research, valuation work and due‑diligence activities.
• Collaborate with a lean team where your contributions are visible and valued.

Required profile

• Strong academic record.
• Prior experience in investment banking, transaction services or corporate finance.
• Team‑player mindset eager to thrive in a boutique environment.
• Motivation to learn quickly and take on responsibilities beyond the typical analyst level.
