Investment Analyst – Data Centres

About the role

ESR Group is seeking a commercially‑minded Investment Analyst to join its Data Centres team in Australia. You will support the growth and management of a high‑profile digital infrastructure portfolio across Australia and the broader Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance financial models, forecasts, valuations and portfolio analytics to inform investment decisions.
• Prepare investor, management and board reporting, including annual business plans, presentations and portfolio insights.
• Support portfolio management activities such as acquisitions, due diligence and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, joint‑venture partners and external advisors to collect, validate and analyse key portfolio information.
• Contribute to joint‑venture workstreams, investment committee materials and investor engagement activities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Property, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1‑4 years’ experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, funds management, consulting or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with advanced Excel capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to present complex information clearly.
• Exposure to real assets, infrastructure, property, energy or digital‑infrastructure sectors is highly regarded.
