Investigations Senior Group Manager - Director

About the role

The Director of Investigations for the Asia cluster leads a team of investigators handling high‑risk regulatory and reputational matters for Citi in Australia and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enhance the Global Investigations Program, including strategy, escalation, policy development and reporting.
• Supervise complex internal, external fraud and cyber investigations, ensuring timely root‑cause analysis and reporting to senior leaders.
• Manage staffing activities such as hiring, performance management, promotions and compensation.
• Develop relationships with regulators, law enforcement and industry bodies, and ensure timely escalation of regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Significant managerial experience leading investigative teams and handling cases with global, civil or criminal implications.
• Proven ability to build effective partnerships with senior business leaders and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work flexible hours during critical project phases.

Required skills

• Experience with e‑discovery tools.
• Forensic accounting knowledge.
• Data analytics proficiency.
