Investee Relations Officer

About the role

This relationship‑driven position focuses on commercial and investment activities with organisations that have received funding or investment support. You will act as the main point of contact for investees and help deliver sustainable investment outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for investees, handling enquiries and maintaining ongoing engagement.
• Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders, communities and businesses.
• Monitor investee progress, performance and compliance with agreed terms.
• Support due‑diligence activities, including gathering and analysing business and financial information.
• Assist in evaluating business proposals and investment readiness.
• Coordinate reporting, documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Identify risks or issues and escalate as needed.
• Support meetings, forums and engagement activities.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, program delivery, finance, lending or investment environments.
• Background in commercial lending and/or impact investing (debt and equity).
• Practical commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial information.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Sound judgement and confidence to follow up on performance and outcomes.
• Ability to work sensitively across diverse stakeholders and contexts.
