Inventory Manager – Chilled Distribution Centre

About the role

The Inventory Manager will lead inventory governance, optimisation and control across manufacturing, warehousing and third‑party storage for Brownes Dairy’s chilled distribution centre. This high‑impact position supports production teams and customer demand while minimising working capital and waste.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce inventory governance policies, standards and record‑keeping.
• Plan and optimise inventory strategy, slotting, pick paths and best‑practice initiatives.
• Manage warehouse inventory operations, including cycle counts, reconciliations and adjustments.
• Integrate S&OP processes through reporting, supply reviews and constraint identification.
• Drive waste reduction initiatives and monitor dump reductions.

Required profile

• Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably E1 JDE.
• Background leading inventory in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Diploma‑level qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills with exposure to Power BI considered highly valuable.
