Intune Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Intune Specialist to join a South Australian Government department on a contract basis. The role will focus on delivering modern endpoint management capabilities across a large and complex environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Intune.
• Design and deploy device management, compliance, and security policies.
• Support migration from traditional device management solutions such as SCCM and Group Policy to modern workplace solutions.
• Configure Autopilot, MDM/MAM, and application deployment strategies.
• Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation for ongoing support.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing Microsoft Intune in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of endpoint management, device compliance, and security policies.
• Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Autopilot.
• Background working in complex or regulated environments, preferably government.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
