Internal Communications Partner

About the role

The City of Moreton Bay is seeking an Internal Communications Partner to shape and enhance community engagement across a diverse organisation. You will design and deliver strategic communication that supports organisational priorities, strengthens employee engagement and brings leadership messages to life.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic communication plans and multi‑channel campaigns.
• Create compelling content such as leadership messages, briefing materials, scripts and campaign assets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing specialist communication advice and coaching.
• Manage complex and sensitive communication matters with sound judgement and stakeholder insight.
• Mentor Internal Communications Officers and contribute to team capability development.

Required profile

• Significant experience in internal communications, corporate communications or employee engagement.
• Proven success developing and delivering strategic communication plans, campaigns and complex content.
• Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence and coach senior leaders.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship‑building capability.
• Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data, identify trends and provide evidence‑based recommendations.
• Confidence to manage sensitive, high‑impact or organisation‑wide communication matters.
• Experience in change communication, organisational transformation, crisis communication or issue management is highly regarded.

• 9‑day fortnight with a salary range of $103,597 – $119,462 pa plus 12% superannuation.
