Internal Communications Coordinator

About the role

The Internal Communications Coordinator will support the Strategic Workforce Communications Lead in delivering engaging employee communications across the Snowy 2.0 project. This role focuses on storytelling, information sharing, and fostering a culture of connection and loyalty among a diverse workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate innovative internal communications that reach all employees, including front‑line staff and hybrid workers.
• Prepare workforce announcements, site‑based notices, and updates on health, safety, wellbeing, and organisational matters.
• Manage logistics for site‑based events, including catering, client approvals, and liaison with General Services.
• Drive attendance at pre‑start meetings, identify engagement barriers, and represent functional needs.
• Support training objectives by evaluating communication techniques and providing feedback to leaders.
• Develop stories for internal channels that reinforce project values and desired culture.
• Contribute to site‑based communication plans and evaluate engagement tools through feedback mechanisms.
