Intermediate Rigger

About the role

SRG Global is seeking an Intermediate Rigger for work based in Gladstone, Queensland, on a casual ongoing basis. The role involves performing rigging tasks safely and efficiently to support construction, maintenance and shutdown activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute rigging activities across a range of fixed plant equipment, including tanks, hoppers, chutes, conveyors and structural supports
• Support shutdown and maintenance works, including the removal and installation of heavy plant components
• Perform dual lifts and complex rigging setups in line with engineering and lift plans
• Work with crane crews, mechanical fitters and scaffolders to deliver safe and efficient outcomes
• Ensure all lifting operations comply with relevant high-risk work standards, procedures and site safety protocols

Required profile

• High Risk Work License in Intermediate Rigging
• Working at Heights and Confined Space licence within 2 years of expiry
• White Card
• Current driver's licence
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
• Australian working rights
