Intermediate Auditor – Audit & Transaction Services

About the role

Forvis Mazars is seeking an Intermediate Auditor to join its fast‑growing Australian audit practice. You will work on a variety of external and internal audit engagements across private and public entities, benefitting from hybrid working arrangements and a supportive wellbeing program.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution and completion of audit engagements for diverse industry sectors.
• Mentor and coach junior audit staff throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Conduct technical research and prepare statutory financial reports.
• Support the team with ad‑hoc audit tasks and data analysis.
• Develop professional knowledge using the U Learn learning platform.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in an external audit practice in Australia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within time and budget constraints.
• Ambitious mindset with a desire to follow a personalized career progression plan.

Required skills

• Caseware software proficiency.
• Caseware IDEA experience (preferred).
