Intermediate Accountant

About the role

Acclime is seeking a full‑time Intermediate Accountant to join its fast‑growing Sydney office. The role is ideal for a professional with solid tax compliance experience who wants to develop technical skills within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts with full working papers and supporting documentation.
• Prepare income tax returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Provide management accounting services and assist with daily client accounting needs.
• Respond to client enquiries and support the tax lodgement programme.
• Manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) and assist with the billing process.
• Supervise and train junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in tax and business advisory services.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting.
• Part‑qualified CPA/CA ANZ accountant.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
