Interior Designer – Residential & Prefab Projects

About the role

Auta Group is seeking a full‑time Interior Designer to join its Adelaide team. The role involves working on a variety of residential and prefabricated cabin projects within a collaborative, design‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide interior design support and coordinate project activities.
• Conduct site measurements and produce documentation.
• Review drawings and check details.
• Assist with development‑related documents such as fence notices.
• Support the Construction Manager with coordination and communication.
• Liaise with cabinetry suppliers and place orders.

Required profile

• Bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both in the office and on site.
• Good understanding of design, space, and aesthetics.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and ability to drive independently.
• Long‑term valid working visa for Australia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
